Reflection on Google Practical Project

Google Practical Project has it good points and bad points in my opinion while practicing all the twenty tools I have hard time understanding using it because while doing the research for Google tools project to do the lessons, some of the student was having difficulty in understanding the tool and other was really good in explaining it.

While making the website pages Google Calendar was the best because it’s the tool I have practice it for the lesson now I use my Google Calendar for alerts which is another tool it helps me to remember my doing this or that. I loved using Google Desktop it’s an interesting tool. The worst was Google Earth I was stuck with creating the KML file and then I gave up I usually use Google Earth and maps to find the way to places inside the country.

Now I use Gmail frequently and I added it to my iPod mail it interest me to check my email from my iPod, Google Search is my number one search engine I use it all the time, also Google news, reader and finance along with Google Scholar I found valuable information for my study, project and my daily life. Also Google labs have good facility I liked the similar image search it is really helpful tool.

I used to prefer using Firefox browser but now after using Google Chrome I realize who fast and good surfing the web while using it. I know that Google Groups is good way to share information but I can’t adjust myself to keep updating with the group. Picasa good software where I can find on it all the pictures in my laptop but the photo editor tool on it need to improve it facility. Along with Google search Language Tools is the most preferred translating site I uses all the time, Google Docs was helpful for shearing our documents, iGoogle is perfect to put everything I need in one page like Google News where I can filter the page for my preferred.

Blogs and Blogs search is the best way to learn about other people while reading my classmates blogs I have learned new things about them. I also revealed some of my childhood memories which, I never spoke about with my friends. Google Site was easy to use unlike Dreamweaver I enjoy using Google Site I just have one page to edit and I am thinking about finding better theme for it.

I learned new things during this course and I appreciate all your effort in teaching us Mr.Tridib and I feel bad about missing our last class because of my sciatica.

For now I will not say Goodbye but, I will say see you again.

what I think about writing in this blog

At first when we started the blog I felt that it will be more work for me because this whole semester is one full of work projects (lessons, presentations, marketing camping and reports).

Now it’s really killing me because now I am lying on my bed because of the sciatica and missing this whole week worth of good things and the last week for normal lessons, where next week will be exams and presentations week.

You know that I wish I will be able to attend next week while being in good health. My brother said that I look pale and somehow like ghost, I don’t blame him I am looking like crazy who is sick in the bed with load of books, papers and laptop.

I don’t think that I will stop writing in this blog I want to continue to reflect about the event around me and it is good to release some of my stress.

Childhood Memories

As Child

I was a very quiet child living in a dream world, shy and afraid to express an emotion, scared of hurting other. My mother used to say that I was obedient child who play without fuss but I was never in the time for eating or sleeping, I used to eat when I am hungry, sleep when I am tired and I used to read stories in the bed time “my mother used to say don’t read stories at night you will dream about it when you go to bed”

I also used to prefer sitting whit adults more than kids my age, I remember that my older sisters used to chase me away saying that go play with the kids, the kids my age in our neighbor and my cousins all boys period of time I liked going out to play foot ball with boys and I loved playing with them I also got my own opinion saying that playing with boys is better than playing with girls.

In our house I used to be the boss of the youngster where my sisters used to say that I have the ability to persuade people and make them take my side.

When I was in my 12 year my sisters used to make big quarrel because I spend my free time with my cousins and our neighbor boys playing and even fighting. I love being with them they was the motive because they are all boys and I am the only girl, they are my rivals till this day that why I want to get higher degree than what they got.

Moreover if I would talk about playing or doing I used to play alone my most favorite game is puzzle I can’t let the year end without completing one, last summer I complete two puzzles of 1000 piece and I am proud of my skill because I am the only one in my family who have the ability to tolerate this type of activity where I can take months in one puzzle if I busy but in summer I can stay all night just to put the puzzle together.

Mood Boost

Mood Boost what I mean by it, that the last three days of the past week have made big change on me as a person I really did not want those days to end and I want to do it once again working in the Bazaar Bank was the most special work I have done this year.

After the long hardship of this long semester we got ten days off (Eid & National Day) after these ten days come the annual event in our college which is the bazaar. Long awaited event in our college, as finance student we were required to manage the bazaar bank, in the past years the bazaar central bank was managed by the finance student with Mr. Phil while the bank branches were managed by HD-1 students.

This year everything has changed the central bank and the five branches was managed by HD3 finance student. It was my first experience as banker in DWC Bazaar it’s the best bazaar ever for me as experience in the Treasury Department and the Head Office of the Bazaar Bank where I gained experience in dealing with different type of people, balancing accounts and closing in the end of each day.

During these three days I learned new things from Mr. Phil and I felt how important the bank to the whole bazaar I miss the busy bank days, for the first time I been recognized as responsible and hardworking student which is a big achievement in my life. In the end I want to thank Mr. Phil for his hard work and the trust that he gave us in managing the bank.

The end of my holiday

This sunset have reminds me of the end of my holiday.

I know this week had been one long week in my life many things happened during those days. I enjoyed my time with the family and we had our usual desert trip after Al Eid break. Now we have few projects and final exams I will do my best till the end.

National Day Celebration

In the 2nd of December every year UAE celebrate the national day, celebrating this even include daily firework display at the heritage village which is my favorite of all events during the national day festival we also have camel race. In our college every year we start celebrating with emirates diving team where they have beautiful performance end with their landing destination in the grass area I enjoyed this performance and I also took some photos.

For the family we usually go to the desert during the national day celebration we enjoy camping where we can have good time in walking, driving motorcycle, shooting and cooking. Going to desert make me feel free. I'm looking forward our end of semester two week break where I want to have more fun and enjoy my time freely without thinking about my assignment and projects.
